DLG Spotlight: Organic Farming

Innovative cultivation systems – experience them in a practical setting

Ridged cultivation is an approach applicable to all types of arable farming, as in addition to traditional ridge crops, cereals, legumes, corn, and sugar beets can also be grown on ridges. Due to the loose soil structure, ridge cultivation improves soil water availability, allows for deep root penetration, and promotes crop development thanks to the early warming of the ridges.

In the “Organic Farming Spotlight,” experts highlight the agronomic benefits and offer tips on crop management and mechanization.
