Ever thought about an alternative?
Climate change, loss of active ingredients, crop diversification, alternative sources of income - these are just some of the reasons why farms are looking for alternatives to existing crops. At the DLG stand at the Field Days, the DLG will be presenting its "Alternative Crops" project with eight crops that have not been widely cultivated to date in demo plots.
There are now a number of growers in Germany who have discovered "their" niche crop for themselves. The DLG offers a unique opportunity to network with these experts. Visitors can learn tips and tricks about growing and marketing these crops on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. During these consultation hours, contact persons will be on site at the respective trial plots to answer your questions. Visit the DLG stand with the variety of alternative crops and benefit from the exchange of experience especially on these unusual crops.
